Supply Chain Excellence as a Value Proposition for API & CDMO Customers

Supply chain at the core

Suanfarma’s Supply Chain connects API distribution, the development and production of proprietary products, and CDMO services across our sites in Spain, Italy, Portugal, and the rest of our international network. We translate demand into executable plans, balance capacity and inventory, and align production and logistics windows so that operations run according to schedule. This integrated system makes the supply chain the backbone linking customer requirements to factory execution and final delivery.

Integrity guides how the supply chain supports supplier and material qualifications, defines planning assumptions, monitors manufacturing data, and structures customer communication — and it will continue to guide the strengthening of traceability and data‑driven processes. This is essential to ensuring information reliability, batch‑level traceability, and strict regulatory compliance. Looking ahead, we will expand end‑to‑end visibility, from planning to release and shipment, enabling customers to benefit from greater reliability, more transparent technical interactions, and reinforced confidence at every decision point.

Our performance is strengthened by Unity, with the supply chain aggregating inputs from all departments — Commercial & Business Development, Finance, Production, Quality, and support areas including HR, R&D, Engineering, and Maintenance — into a coordinated flow of information and, when needed, integrating it into a single, shared view. Through this operating model, the supply chain will embed customer needs directly into planning, while helping anticipate risks earlier, harmonize technical practices, and provide clear, shared visibility of status and decisions for APIs and CDMO.

This collaboration fosters strong Accountability, with the supply chain interlinking the entire end‑to‑end cycle: we run forecasting, identify capacity windows and priorities, and optimize shipments with transparent updates. Supported by a solid dynamic and shared knowledge across sites — and operating in a fast‑moving API and CDMO environment — this continuous evolution, grounded in Integrity, reinforced by Unity, and demonstrated through Accountability, ensures a supply chain that is reliable, responsive, visible, flexible, and consistently worthy of customer trust.
